(suspended or waived for school closures and remote learning days)
Fiction and non-fiction books returned after the due date incur a fine of $.10 per day; overdue reference books are fined at $.50 per day. When students have a fine or an overdue item, weekly messages are sent to the enrolling head of household's email address. Fines should be paid in cash to Media Center Staff, checks can be used for payments before the last month of school. Fines are not charged when schools are closed.
Printing
Students are charged $.10 per page for black and white printing and $.50 per page for color printing; Media Center staff must release jobs sent to the color printer. Learn how to save on color printing by sending some pages of a document to the black and white printer and only the pages with color to the LEXCLP printer, or by using the Print on Both Sides option for the media center's color printer. Students who are visiting the media center with their class are not charged for black and white printing to fulfill assignments during their class visit
